Using cell reference to select column labels in excel

    Hi all,

I'm trying to create a vba procedure that will change the column labels on my pivot table based on the values in cells.

Let me explain - I have a pivot table (pivottable4) located in "Sheet2". The column labels are dates(refreshed daily). I need to be able to select two dates from the drop-down menu e.g 3/30/2013 and 3/31/2013.

I would like the column filter to reference two cells (A1 and B1) in "Sheet1". In these cells I will enter the two dates I want the pivot table to return.

If anyone has created something similar or knows a solution, I would be very grateful to hear your input. I have spent several hours searching for a solution but none have been able to deal with selecting TWO dates.

Please let me know if any of the above is confusing or needs further explanation.

    Thanks in advance,

    Nailler167

Before I give up on trying to get this vba to work - Is there anyone that could suggest an alternative to VBA that I could use. I have read it is possible to use SQL to complete such an action. Is this true?
