If cell equals "x" move row to sheet "x", If cell equals "y" move row to sheet "y"

    Hi

I'm very new to excel and sorry if this is something simple.
I have a sheet with different names in column D. I need all the rows with "Alistair" in column D to be moved to a sheet called "Alistair", and all the rows with "Michael" in column D to be moved to the sheet called "Michael", and so on, there are 10 different names that can appear in column D.

I would be so grateful for any help with this.

This is very simple to do.

Do you want the new rows inserted at the top or at the bottom?

Hi, I want each new row copied from the main sheet to be pasted at the bottom of any previous data already copied to a new sheet.

    Ok

There is a problem. You are using First Names to give you sheet Names. How will you handle Having Two Johns?

If it's no more difficult to code then I can add surnames. There are only ever going to be ten names that appear, and unless we have a change of staff there are no duplicated first names.
