    VBA Condtional formatting help

    Hi,

Thank you for taking time to read this and possibly help me out.

I have attahced a worksheet with a sample of what I am looking at doing. I am wanting to apply a condtioanl format(which I think will work with a vba) to find a condtion and when it is met take information(in this case text) and put it in another column in the same row. What I am trying to do can be done with writing a formula and applying across the area where I want the text to be but when you do this the text can not spill over into the next columns(which I need it to for reasons you'll see in the sample); I want to see the text and be able to print it out.

A different idea would to use a macro and have it go down each row until a if staement is true input the text in that cell and stop the macro from continuting down the row. I think this would stop the formulas applying to the cells which in turn would let the text spill over into the next cells.

I could be wrong with both of these assumptions, in that case a new direction to look in would be helpful.

    Thank you,

    Re: VBA Condtional formatting help

THe non-vba answer is this in H7, then copied down and across:
    =IF(G$4=$E7, $B7, "")

But your cells aren't wide enough to accomplish that. So you need to remove the text from the other cells...

A VBA solution that uses that formula:
