create a macro that will perform another macro on selected cells

    Dear Excel Expert,

I have a macro that runs on a single cell. I want to be able to select a range of cells with my mouse and then use my macro short cut to perform the macro on the selected cells. Is this possible?

    Thanks,

    Andrew

What exactly do you need the macro to do? You should really supply a sample workbook and show us what you have and what you want to happen at the end.

    Hi Marvin,

May I ask your help with a particular question? Can you with as short sub routine show me how to copy only the fonts, basically just the color fonts, from one range to another range; ie copy only the colors not the values from one range of text to another range of text. I have looked everywhere and their are no Excel functions that will do this and I can't figure out how to do this in vba. xlspastespecial doesn't recognize the font values.

    Thanks very much,

    Andrew
