Have Date Automatically Update When Changes Are Made To Document

Hello,
I want to have the date in a cell to update if and only if changes are made to the document.
For example, I have a cell that says 'document up-to-date as of m/d/yy, and want that date to change when someone updates any field in the document (it is shared by many users). I don't want to have to worry about people remembering to update the date.

Can someone help with a way to do this automatically?

Perhaps you could use the "Worksheet_Change" event?

Set range to match document range. To add code richt click on active sheet tab, click on "View Code" and paste code in new windows. Warning this code only work on active sheet i.e. if code pasted to sheet1 and change are made in sheet2 code will not fire.
