Hello all, I will start with a little background;
I am adding a new cell area on a form in my spreadsheet, this is a merged cell made up of 8 cells, this is to be a text box so users can enter comments and notes for later recall.
The form then gets submitted into a table, and then later recalled back to the form for reviewing or amending.
The problem;
I have no idea what I am doing wrong with my coding as this is the first time I have used a merged cell with VBA. I have tried getting it to work with help from Google but I am lost, and if someone could let me know what I am doing wrong so I know for next time.

This is the line of code that copies the cell to the table, it is part of a macro that searches the table to see if pacific reference is already present the over writes the data on the row if not then it adds to the last empty row:

If you need more info please ask, I have broken the code up due to full code being very large and wanted to try and make it simple to advise as I am sure that the solution is simple and I just can't see it now.
