countif formula not working

Hi all - i am not really knowledgeable in excel and my formula below may not be correct. Here is what i would need to do, count the number of person who scored 95% and above from c1:c10, e1:e10, g1:g10. the formula im using is =countif(c1:c10,e1:e10,g1:g10,"=>95%") but it's returning an error saying i've got so many arguments...

Please help me formulate the correct/appropriate formula for this situation. I would appreciate if you could also provide a simple explanation as to how you came up with the formula so i would know what to do in the future.

=COUNTIF(C1:G10,">=0.95").............. counts all the cells and may not be appropriate

or

=COUNTIF(C1:C10,">=0.95") + COUNTIF(E1:E10,">=0.95") + COUNTIF(G1:G10,">=0.95").... only counts and sums the target cells
