Hi all I would like to ask how I will use this function with the example below:
If a1 is not equivalent to TRANSFER then N/A must auto-populate a3. But if a1 is TRANSFER then a3 should have a dropdown list.
Thanks in advance.

Hi blue_izce8,
Is it possible that you can have N/A in the dropdown list along with other elements in A3 ?

we are actually thinking of saving time that is why we wanted to make the N/A appear without being chosen
Okay.. then only solution, as per me, is VBA (macros)... if you are fine with this, upload a sample workbook having your test data. thanks.

I don't have the file available right now is it possible for you to teach me what do once you give me the VBA?
You need to include that VBA (Module) in your file .. thats it.
but I doubt if you stuck, it will invite re-work for both of us.. hence asking you to upload a sample file. thanks.

The first sheet. Tracker sheet.
The cell that should auto populate na is the one across the triage.
