Excel 2007-Customize the Ribbon using a xlam file instead of a xlsm file.

    Hello.

I know how to customize the Ribbon using Custom UI Editor for Microsoft Office on a xlsm file. Is it possible to do it using an add in (xlam) file? If yes, can someone please give an idea of how to do it?
Thanks a lot for any kind help.

    Hi, Octavio ,

just store your *.xlsm as *.xlam and have a look at the result? I donīt have any trouble opening *.xlam files with the Custom UI Editor and working on them.

    Ciao,

    Holger, thank you.
I was making a mistake. I was inserting the xml on a custom UI for 2010 when i'm using 2007...
