how to change highlighted rows back to original colour

    hi
i have code for worksheet that highlights rows in orange manually, the code did collumns and rows which ive changed,i want to use as a visual stock take,ie go down sheet1 and mark all orange, what is not orange is not there ect,you just click on row in sheet1,code is in the tab,my problem is when stock take over i need to undo highlighting but leave data there ,not delete rows as in many threads',i tried changing no 49407 to 2 which is supposed to be white but came out black

What are you trying to do again? Easier to hep you if you post a sample workbook.

    hi
have posted log,its sheet1 have adjusted code to make highlight (orange)stay on sheet and so you can select multiples but how would you change colour to white to unhighlight some of them, its a stock take, will highlight all items we have then enter barcode number, then deselect them all and the ones without barcodes change to different colour to tell visually what has not been seen

Your macro kept crashing on me. Can you just provide a clean sample with just the data.
