New to Forms-How do I find a missing control?

I was making changes to a form. I accidentally let go of a checkbox while dragging it across the form and it instantly disappeared! How do I find it again?

What I have tried so far:

I have tried extending the form to one side (to provide some free space) and then dragging all the labels, checkboxs, frames etc. over in case the checkbox was hidden behind one of these controls. Didn't work.

I have tried tabbing through the controls and checking the Properties window while I do it. The missing checkbox never came up.

I have checked whether the control still exists. It does. (I added another checkbox and tried to set its name to that of the missing control, received ambigious name error)

In my version of Excel, you can see all the control names in the Properties
drop-down list. When you see the name of the one that may be hidden behind
another control, select the name, then change to Left and Top positions to
something that will move the control and allow you to see it again.
