    Arrow converting text to numbers

    Hi, I export results from a software called "GAMS" to Excel. When it outputs the tables, it stores the indices as text and the values in the column as numbers.
    For example in the following output table columns A and B and row 1 are indices and thus the numbers are stored as text.
    I have multiple sheets with this issue. It's important for me to convert these values because I have another excel file that reads these files and prepares the final report.
    I wrote a macro to convert text to number, but since I have plenty of such files, I want to see if I can have a single macro that fixes all my files at once.

    Any help is appreciated!

    I think your post title may be misleading. Since you already have a macro for converting text to numbers it sounds like what you're wanting now is "How to apply a macro to a group of files". If so, the links below might help you get started:
