    Macro save

    Hello,

I would need some help to save data when not existing or modify existing data.

So let me be clearer: As per the attached file, I have a data base in sheet "2" and I would like to be able to consult some players, save new player and modify data.

The only part that I need help with is that IF A11 is empty It will copy all the information in cell D13;F13;H13;D14;G:14;H14 and add a new row and ID in the database sheet "2".

But If I enter in D13 a name and the cell A11 is equal to an existing ID from the database sheet "2", I would like that to keep the ID in the database sheet "2" and the information that I would enter in the cells D13;F13;H13;D14;G:14;H14 rewritten.

In that example I did not entered the vlookup formulas that allow me to consult players as I did manage to create the macro for that but the save part is too complicated for me

I hope you will be able to help me.

    Many thanks in advance,
    Graig

PS: how to refere worksheet without refering it by its name (eg: Worksheets("NAMEWORKSHEET").Select)? Also one annoying thing I would like to comment is that in cell A11 sheet"1" I could not manage to do a vlookup with the IDs in sheet "2" column A:A :-S I had for that example to duplicate that column into G:G and for some reason the vlookup formula works... Any explaination or solution are also welcome
