Lightbulb Double Click Excel Window Title Bar Duirng Full Screen Mode

I am developing an application in Excel. Is anyone out there can show me or all of us how to 'trap the event of double clicking the Excel Title Bar' using VBA? I wish Excel not to display the menus and ribbons during Full Screen mode. Thanks in advance.

    To quote the great garbo7441...

It is possible to completely hide everything in Excel except the Excel caption bar at the very top.

Copy the following two event handlers to the clipboard:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
    Press ALT + F11

Double click 'THIS WORKBOOK' in the Microsoft Excel Objects in the upper left quadrant.

Paste the two event handlers into the editing area to the right.

Still in the VBE, in the menus at the top, go to INSERT > MODULE.

Copy and paste the following macro into the newly created module:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
Close the VBE and return to the worksheet.

    Press ALT + F8

When the Macros window opens, highlight the macro and click 'Options...'.

Enter a letter to be used as a keyboard shortcut and click 'OK'. I suggest an uppercase letter to make the shortcut as transparent as possible.

    Close the Macros window.

    Save the workbook.

Now, whenever you open this workbook the ribbon will be hidden and the ribbon will be reinstated for other Excel workbooks when opened.

If you wish to temporarily reinstate the ribbon, press Ctrl + your shortcut letter. This is a 'toggle' macro... each call alternately shows/hides the ribbon.

Note: this code pretty much codes out everything from headings to scrollbars, the status bar, formulabar, etc. If there are things you wish to keep, just delete the line of code in the WorkBook_OPEN event handler.

For example, if you wish to keep headings, delete this line:

    .DisplayHeadings = False

You do not have to worry about the WorkBook_Close handler when you delete lines from the Open handler. It will function appropriately.

Not enough words to say thanks to you....!! It really works.. Again, a lot of thanks from me and others who experience the same problem as me.
