Lightbulb Add name to master sheet, and add same name to sheets after specified sheet

    Hello,

I am new to Excel 2010 and the Excel forum, and I am looking for some help.

Currently, I have a workbook containing information about doctors my sales representatives make calls on. Inside, I have sheets that represent 1 week of calls, and the sheets are titled as the Monday of the week (Ex: "6-24-13, "7-1-13"....."12-30-13").

The sales representatives add new doctors to the list and remove those that they will no longer need to meet with in the future. If they are adding or removing a doctor's name, though, they do not alter previous weeks in which that doctor's name appeared.

So if a representative had a meeting with Dr. Q on 7-1-13, but will no longer meet with him/her in the future, then the sales representative will remove Dr. Q from the sheets 7-1-13, 7-8-13, 7-15-13...etc, but will leave Dr. Q on all sheets 7-1-13 and before.

My vision is for my reps to be able to "Click" a button when they want to add or remove a doctor from the list.

To Add, a prompt would appear where the representatives can insert LName, FName, MI, Specialty, address 1, address 2, city, state, zip, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, and Notes (in cells A-O respectively). Also, they would be able to select which date they would like to start with (that is, which sheet)

In a sheet called "Summary", a new row would be created with only Lname and Fname in columns A and B. Also, formulas in columns C-AE should be mimicked from the above row with references updated.

The catch is that if a doctor is added, the doctor's name needs to be added to all subsequent sheets, but it cannot be added to previous sheets. Also, if a doctor is to be deleted, it should be deleted from all sheets following that date, but not the sheets prior to that date.

Also consider, with the constant adding and removing of names, the same doctor switches cells in each sheet. So, it would be best if new doctors could be added to the bottom of every sheet (the bottom of each sheet, though, will vary in length).

If anyone could help me out with this vision, that would be greatly appreciated. I have no experience with VBA or Macros; however, after doing research, I believe it is the proper way to go. I apologize; however, I cannot post my excel workbook due to the sensitivity of the information it contains.

    Best Regards,

    Grazian2

You are looking for a solution, not a fix.

I suggest that you consider buying points and posting in the Commercial Service Forum.

    Trevor,
I was going to suggest the same.
