transfer ranges from one sheet to another

I am looking to take a select cell range from one sheet and transfer it to another sheet with minimum code. An example
would be take cell range(A2:J22) from sheet 1 and place it on sheet 2(A99:J19). Would assigning a name range to this
net the best way to accomplish it.

you dont need the whole range for sheet 2 it just takes the top left and pastes the whole block

sorry i guess the extra : is for _ extra line which i stole from my original code

"Copy" should be taking the formatting at the same time as it works the same was standard copy and paste works

Select the range then Ctrl+X go to the place that you want to have this range copied to click on the cell that would be the upper left of the range and Ctrl+V . This cuts and pastes values and formatting. Formulae in the range will refer to the same references as the original.

EG: if the range was on sheet1 and was coloured Yellow and had a formula referencing A1 on sheet1! and you selected the range and did Ctrl+X and selected B14 on sheet2 the cell that referenced A1 on sheet1 would have the reference to A1 changed to sheet1!A1
