Apply 'X only to records that has Filters applied

Hi All,
I need to insert a letter 'X' in Column A when I press the Macro Button.

The challenge is that I first need to do a filter first (Can be by cust No. Part No etc) and I only want 'X' to be applied to the records that has the filter applied.

E.g
I do a filter by cust No 228, and Part No ABC2. Then I only want 'X' to be applied to these records.



How do I go about doing it? Any help is appreciated!
