SUBTOTAL using macros

Hi,

I have a workbook with many worksheets. In each worksheet in column AE i have certain data of different ranges. For eg: in Worksheet A in column AE i have data till row 3800. In worksheet B in have data till row 2600. there are 10 such sheets. Could you please help me out with a macro which inserts subtotal at the end of each range in column AE of all the worksheets and calculates the subtotal. Also, it is live data. The range in column AE changes for each sheet everyday.

Have inserted a test file. Have put four sheets. Detail and C Detail are the files where i need to find the subtotal. Worksheet Detail shows 3681 rows for monday. The no. of rows may change to 4000 on tuesday. But the outcome should be same everyday. Find subtotal at the end of each range.

Can you please help me out with this.

This does not solve my problem.
1. It gives the Sum and not Subtotal.
2. Does not provide the subtotal of the second sheet i.e C Detail.

Please help.

Hi,
I have edited my excel file. My goal is to find the subtotal of the column "Hours" in each sheet.
My problem is that the range in the cloumn "Hours" change everyday. If today in the sheet Monday details the no of rows is 3000 then tomorrow in the same sheet Monday details the number of rows might change to 4000. Its a live data.

I want to write a macro which calculates the subtotal of the column Hours and paste it at the end of the column. This macro should run in all the detail sheets i.e after finding the subtotal in sheet "Monday detail" and pasting the value at the end of the coulmn it should go to the next sheet "tuesday detail". Perform the same function "subtotal" of the column hours, paste the subtotal at the end of the column and move further to the third sheet.

Any help will be appreciated.
