Re: clubbing workbooks without copy paste from each workbook

The link suggest you upload an excel file, in which we can see

    how your data looks like

    what has to be done

how the results should look like

    where the corresponding cells are

    And some other advice:

I don't want to open excel file which give me an failure when I try to open it.

I think there are more members thinking that way.

So you get better help if you don't have that problem in you file.

    So try to fix it.

Re: clubbing workbooks without copy paste from each workbook

    'WORKBOOKS TO 1 SHEET STACKED
Here's a macro for collecting data from all files in a specific folder. The parts of the code that need to be edited are colored to draw your attention.

Looking in the code, you'll also probably want to change the COPY command to start at A2 instead of A1 so it skips the titles.

Re: clubbing workbooks without copy paste from each workbook

This line of code in that macro is designed to detect any files in that folder that have .xls in them, so that would find .xls and .xlsx in the same folder.

Sounds to me like you did not make the edit I recommended in post #14.

Re: clubbing workbooks without copy paste from each workbook

Nothing in the macro given is changing the nature of the values copied. Your sample sheets have numbers in column G and thus numbers are copied in column G.
