Extract data from Excel table in PowerPoint

I have a very simple Excel table embedded in a PowerPoint slide. I would like to make some simple calculations in the table. I've given the cells names that I want to link to the custom properties in the PowerPoint.

Anyone have any idea how to do this?

Re: Extract data from Excel table in PowerPoint

I am looking to do the exact same thing as extracting data from a chart, except it's even simpler. I just want 5 or 6 values from the embedded Excel table in the PPT.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
