Custom ribbon buttons don't export correctly

I've set up a number of macros and then then set up a custom ribbon with a button for each of the macros. The macros were stored to "this workbook." I export the customizations and sent the file to another computer. Then I imported the customizations. When I click on any of the buttons on the custom ribbon I get an error message "can't open <path name>. Macros may not be enabled or macro may not be contained in this workbook." . However, if I go into the macro button on the developer ribbon the same macro is present. If I run it from there then everything works. Problem is that the button on the custom ribbon has the original pathname rather than simple looking locally to the file.

Is there any way to tell the button to look locally to the file for the macro?

Or do I need to put everything into a personal macro workbook and somehow export this?

Yes! I put the macro for costomer's ribbon in Addin.
for me, I use one icon to multi macro for different workbooks as you need. e.g.

Thank you. I'm not a VB programmer so I don't completely understand this but it seems that it might address my issue. I'll work with a friend over the next couple of days to try to implement this
