Hi all,
I'm using Excel 2010. I don't know if I am posting my problem in the right forum. So, admins please move in the right forum if it is misplaced here.
My problem is as follows: I have a worksheet where column B is a very long list of names of companies. However, the names have been written without any proper guidelines. For example, the name "Fram" may have been written as "Fram Voyages", "Voyage Fram", "Voyages Fram" or simply "Fram" or "Frams". I can get all the "Fram" by doing a ctrl+F on that column and using "Fram" as my search criteria. It does list all the cells where "Fram" is present.
Is there a way for me to replace all variations of "Fram" as, say, "Fram". ie: all the variations I gave above are finally converted into "Fram"?
I've just taken a single example but this occurs on several other names too! The search tool is helping to locate what I'm looking for but I just need a formula or VB code to do what I explained above.
Thank you for your help!
