    open list of all .csv files in a folder and copy few colums in a excel of same sheet.

    i am G. N. Rao using the forum 1st time. i want a macro to open the all .csv file in a folder one by one and paste few colums (say a,b,c colum) in excel sheet. in excel, first copy the file name of.csv, and paste it in 1st cell(A1) of and then paste data in abc colum in down of it and similary data copied from 2nd csv should paste in DEF colums. the .csv file names should like as below

    ASD260820131200
    ASD260820131500
    ASD270820131200
    ASD280820131200

    If you are using office 2007, please update your profile to say so. It still shows 2003.

    Based on your last post in this thread, its apparent that you are satisfied with the solution(s) you've received and have solved your question, but you haven't marked your thread as "SOLVED". I will do it for you this time.

    In future, to mark your thread as Solved, you can do the following -

    Incase your issue is not solved, you can undo it as follows -

    i need a macro, if i enter the start date and finish date. the sheet should fill the dates with every half hour interval and add the values for each eight hours .can you help this. a sample sheet is attached for your refernce in which 1st eight hour is shown, similarly i want remaining next iteration should be complete using the macro for all days and intervals.
