Executing a bouncing sheep whilst the code/macro runs

    Hi all,

Not the most serious of queries, but after completing my macro I now find it takes the better part of a minute to run. Whilst I have taken care of screen.updating, I'd like to add a sheep bouncing around the screen (the macro has been developed for one of my antipodean colleagues) instead of the slow circle.

I've not worked with DoEvents or anything like this before, and this certainly isn't critical or crucial, just if anyone has the time to start me off on this it would be an interesting addition to the final submission

    Many thanks,

    Mike

    Hi Mike,

well I dunno how about the bouncing sheep but you can use modal to show something on the screen whilst something else is runing, at least thats what I´m using - just, im not that skilled or whatever, to actualy implement moving pics to amuse users, atm I´m just showing simple userform which tells user that macro is in progress so he doesnt panic because his PC froze...and it goes like this

as from my knowledge i´d believe if you could get some of those moving pic in the userform it will do the trick you´re asking for (there is a line where you can place an image in the userform properties - I use that for the start up pop up userform

    Best regards

    Soul

Won't execute a bouncing, or otherwise, sheep slow things down a bit?
