    Autonumber Based on a Variable from an InputBox

    I am trying to create a column that will autonumber based on a number fed in.
    For instance today I had 289 tickets, I enter this based on an InputBox as the numbers change each day. I want to then enter 1 - 289 in Column A. I'm sure this is an easy thing to do, but as I have only worked with databases I am not sure the proper way to do it.
