Nope, asked to save it twice, and still dosn't close

When I run your code on the attached, I did not get any message. The book closed with out warning.

I get it on both ActiveWindow.close & WBSN.close

have even re booted mt machine to make sure nothing was locking it??????????????????

The code is in another workbook, hence the *.Active command. Could it be something to do with that

To be honest with you, I do not know. I have copied the code you posted in #3 with active window command and did not get any message.

ok, well, over the weekend something has happened, just copied the #3 code back in, and now it works


Will mark this down to an excel "feature"
