Can you customize the vbInformation sound?

I have a msgbox in my code which I've added the vbInformation icon. Is it possible thorough VBA to customize the sound played using a .wav or other type of file than the standard Excel sound made when the msgbox is displayed? If so, how would I go about doing that and what type of sound file is required?

I'm not certain you can easily defer the standard sound played with various message boxes. You can however, create your own UserForm that looks like a messagebox and use the above macro to play a sound when it appears.

Not really - these are system wide settings defined in Control Panel so you'll get your 'custom' sound in all applications.
