I ask today for some direction as I am a complete amateur in Vba.
Here is my scenario. I have multiple workbooks which are named in the format of 'Rov dd mmm yyyy' these are then saved in folders titled by their corresponding week- I.e 'WC dd mmm yyyy'. This WC folder is then stored in it's corresponding month - I.e 'October 2013'. Finally these monthly folders are capped of under a title folder named 'ROV'. This is the folder structure of my workbooks, from title, to month, to week commencing, to ROV date. Now these dates workbooks have a sheet within them called 'extraction data' which is a collection of data which is generated from the users input on other sheets. What I would like to do, is to extract or copy out this extraction sheet from all workbooks by order of date, into a 'master sheet' which will just keep generating this daily data. Unless of course, somebody can advise me of a more efficient process.
