Urgent help for pop up alert on stock control

Hi

I am having great difficulty in doing this but my boss has asked me to create a spreadsheet for stock control of some diesel filters when teh stock hits =<30 we have to order 60 new ones and if possible I would like a hyperlink to open a Maintenance request (MR) excel spreadsheet if thats possible?

any help would be fantastic

Do you have an example file you could upload with nothing confidential contained? Forum members would get a clearer picture of what you need. From your description it could perhaps be done with formulas but it might need VBA. Hyperlinks can open files and formulas can easily warn when stock levels drop. For the hyperlink you would need the complete path of the file if it's stored on your computer.

If you go advanced at the bottom of the reply box you can then select the paper clip icon and follow the dialogue boxes to attach a file from you computer.

The file attached has originally what I was looking for but I now need the programme in Cells D2 and E2 but I dont know how to as I thought it was a simple copy and paste job but unfortuntely not!
