Extract 50 characters text to a new worksheet

    Hi All,

Can someone help me? The system that i'm using has a 50 characters limitation and every time i received a new request from the customer i need to check the number of characters of the cell.. so is there any way that it can be automated? Please find attached sample spreadsheet.

In Excel, I have two Worksheets "Items" & "ExtractItems"

In "Items" tab thats the request items from the customer column B1 to B5. My idea is once i click the Extract Button the script will extract the item description into 50 characters per row and will generate the list to a new worksheet name "ExtractItems"

The script that i'm using now is not that good and need to be modified.

I hope someone will help me with this

    Thanks

    Sky

There are 2 sub procedures named "test1" and "test2".

test1 is assigned to the button.

    See the attached helps.
