This Code will tick all your CheckBoxes and count them...I'm not certain what you mean by thisAssign the Code to CheckBox 287 (Select All)can count up the tick box in colum s20 in sheet 1

dear jaslake, you're had solved 50% of my problem and i'm sorry for the unclear question.actually,i need to count up the total of books given for each person in colum s20:s37 according the selected check box.please help.

I can think of two ways to do as you require:
You're using Forms Control CheckBoxes and they are not numbered sequentially across each row (first several rows are) which creates a Code issue.
If you were using ActiveX CheckBoxes we'd have more functionality to work with.
It'll take me a bit to work through this.
