I once saw an excell page that you were able to just write in the numbers that you wanted in an equation and it figured it all out for you. I am trying to build that and need some help please. The equations are not just simple addition and subtraction. They are square roots, exponents etc. One equation in particular is the inverse square law. For this one you are trying to find the intensity of something. If anyone is able to help or point me in the right direction please.

Hi and welcome to the forum!
Can you give a few examples of the equations in which you're interested?
First we can translate the given equation into an Excel formula (or formulas), then, once we have that, we can simply change the variables (held in cells) to obtain the desired results.

Perhaps you can help me with a few more. I was able to figure out from your example how you set up something for division, multiplication etc. But with the examples I just added, once you find the answer to N, how would you add it into the equation? Also do you know who to add natural log or LN into the equation? Thank you again for all your help.
