Question Updating a set of checkbox once a listbox changes

    Afternoon,

Basically as the title states, is it possible to update a checkbox if it's "True" or "False" depending on a cell?

I've attached the file, with a working form. The user can select a duty (listbox) + multiple days (check boxes) press' "Update" (commandbutton) and it will place a "1" in the correct place.

Is it possible to update the checkboxes according to the duty selected ?

    MDS-Test.zip

    Thanks

    Hi jsneak

Are you suggesting that, if a User selects Duty 01FT501 then Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu and Fri will be ticked but if the User selects 01FT502 then Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed and Thu will be ticked?

Re: Updating a set of checkbox once a listbox changes

Well whats happening is the user selects the 01FT501 then clicks whatever day and press' update - which places the 1's in the column. They would need to then go to 01FT502 (But all the box's are still ticked from before) I'd like it, if it were possible, for the user to select 01FT501 Select Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri click "Update". Then select 01FT502 (Box's would clear as there isn't any 1's associated to that duty).

So for instance, say i mistakenly click on the entire week for 01FT501, but i only need Mon/Tue ... If i select 01FT501 i'd like it to show the days i've selected and simply untick the box to remove the 1's, correcting the mistake. (Making it Mon/Tue instead of the entire week i'd previously ticked)

I hope this kind of makes sense

*The 1's stand for the duty to be lapsed*

    Thanks!

Example of this is attached -

    MDS-Test.zip

01FT501 is lapsed (has a "1" in Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri)
01FT502 is lapsed (has a "1" in Tue, Wed. Thu)
01FT503 is lapsed (has a "1" in Fri)

Let's say 01FT501 there is a mistake, Wednesday is incorrect. The user would open the form, click on 01FT501, on the right where the days are, it would be ticked Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri. We would then untick the Wednesday and re-update, getting rid of the mistake.
