Join together worksheets from multiple workbooks

Hi is it possible to join together worksheets from multiple workbooks(around 30) in same folder.

Each workbook has the same naming convention except different date. They are in the same format they have 5 tabs and the layout is the same. I only want to join the one tab named "home" which is the first tab in each sheet.

Im sure we can put something together for this, but it would help if we could see some samples of what you are working with?

    Trade example 24 11 2013.xlsx

Files similar to the attached. They all have the Home sheet and have the same titles and format.

This is probably far too simplistic, but lets start this way.

If you just want to pull in 1 particular cell from the other W/B's, then maybe something like this?...
    ='[Trade example 24 11 2013(1).xlsx]Home'!$A$2

Yes I have about twenty workbooks I need to join together. They are all in the same folder in the same format.

currently I open each one and copy and paste to combine all the workbooks.

Perhaps if you provided a few dummy/samples of what you are working with, and what you want?

Re: Join together worksheets from multiple workbooks

    Doc2.docx

My previous spread sheet generates each day and goes to a folder. So you get the same spread sheet for multiple dates I want to create a macro that joins the first sheet "Named Home" within each of theseworkbooks. So I don't have to manually copy and past to a new sheet each time.

    Does this make sense?
