Run-time error 70 when button is clicked to run macro that opens email

I have a sheet that has a simple button (form control) that is assigned the following macro:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
On my computer the button works fine when clicked, opening an email pre-populated with the To, CC, Subject, and Body information including the chart image. One of my co-workers is getting a run-time error '70': permission denied when he clicks the button. He is using an identical PC, same version of Windows (7), same version of Excel (2010). I had him enable all macros in the trust center and that didn't fix the problem either. I have seen some posts about "rowsource property" but that seems associated with comboboxes and the like, not a simple button, and I'm not sure how to check that. Any help that could be offered would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello blacklotus0014,

    Welcome to the Forum!

It appears the user has not setup Outlook as the server. The user needs to setup Outlook to access his or her email account.
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

Is the C:\ or .png file protected?

    Hi Leith,

Thank you for the welcome! I'm not sure I know what you mean, unless you meant setting up Excel to access Outlook by enabling the Microsoft Outlook object in the VBA editor. Please let me know if you meant something different.

Can you elaborate on the button/macro assignment? I am a bit of a novice, but I think that might be the issue, I'm just not sure what I should be checking to resolve the issue. Thanks again!

Try reasigning the macro by right clicking the shape and selecting 'Assign Macro'. Then double clicking the Email() macro.

I tried this and it didn't work. I even created a brand new macro in a new module and called it something like emailbutton then assigned that to the button and my co-worker still got the "permission denied" error. I'm sure there is a very simple fix, but it's frustrating not knowing what it is.

Did you check Leith's suggestion from post #2?

I replied to that suggestion. I'm not sure what Leith meant, so if someone could provide detailed instructions on how to check this I would gladly try it out. I did try adding the Outlook library object in the VBA editor, so if this suggestion is something different please let me know. Thanks!

I think you may have to save the picture to a different location for your user - perhaps the MyDocuments folder. The User Account Control may be blocking the code for him.
