Hello.
I'm delving in to IE Automation through Excel (Running Windows 7, IE9, Excel 2010). There is a website that my folks have to access, enter information to run a query to check the military status of certain individuals. Once the query is sbumitted, the results are provided in a pdf.
I'm navigating to the site and executing the query just fine. What I'm having difficulty with is figuring out what to do with the results.
What I want to do is either (haven't decided which) save the pdf to a folder that I can revisit later, or Open the file so that I can retreieve the actual result data from the pdf FDDcapture.PNG. I wouldn't mind an option that would show me both. I just can't seem to figure out how to get the code to point to the file download dialogue box and do what I want it to.
Eventually, I'll be working on looping through an entire worksheet to retreive results for many people at a time, but for the sake of this inquiry, I've set it to one generic search of "Homer Simpson" who's SSN is all zeros.
