Date cell reference coding

Hi ,

I'm new to VBA and the forum and in need of some much needed help!

The problem I have is that I need to be able to add the date to the code (below) from the spreadsheet and not from the coding window.

this is just a snppit of the code.

I believe I need to reference the cell and store as a variable but I cant seem to get it to work.

If the date is in cell A1, and the code is in the object module for that worksheet, simply use
