Change Order of Calculated Fields in Pivot Table

    Hello,

I'm trying to change the order of calculated fields in a pivot table. I assume the only way to accomplish this would be through VBA, does anyone know how to do so?

    Thanks,
    Ben

I think the "Solve Order" would fix that for you (in the drop down for "Fields, Items & Sets", in the PivotTable Options tab)

    Thanks,
    Duncan

P.S. Please click the star and mark as solved if this fixed your issue.

Thanks Duncan, that unfortunately doesn't work. I believe the Solve Order only applies when a field in a pivot table depends on multiple calculated fields. The Solve Order box is blank when I click on it.

I'm simply trying to change around the order of calculated fields that I have created in the PivotTable Field List (I have many). It seems like a simple thing to do, but it doesn't seem to be possible from what I've found. I figure the only way is with VBA, but not sure how.

You may only sort Field List in data source order (for calculated fields this is order you created them) or alphabetical. Even with VBA other options are not possible. But of course you may recreate calculated fields in a different order.

Thanks Izandol. I appreciate your response. Good to know for sure what I had suspected.
