Use activex combo box to filter (display rows that match the selection in the combo box

I have a worksheet that has a list of projects in rows 8:45 and the auto filter is set in row 7. Below this range I have a list of resources available to assign the above projects to. I would like to use the activex combo box to filter (or display the rows of certain resources assigned to specific teams. screen shot.jpg

The combo box data is located on a separate sheet, I would like to filter the rows below row 51 based on the selection of the combo box.

I'm getting a run time error 438, object does not support this property or method. Why are you calling out .Filter=3?

Re: Use activex combo box to filter (display rows that match the selection in the combo bo

Can you please fix the previous post to add code tags. Just select the text and hit #

I am adding Field=3 because as per your picture it seems you want to filter using the third column of data ( not the this column in the workbook) I got this from the picture but you can modify to fit your needs.

    Thanks

    Thanks fredlo201. So..

Your post does not comply with Rule 3 of our Forum RULES. Use code tags around code.

    Posting code between
Please Login or Register to view this content.
tags makes your code much easier to read and copy for testing, it also maintains VBA formatting.

Highlight your code and click the # icon at the top of your post window. More information about these and other tags can be found here
