I am a beginner in the macro world. I am trying to create a pivot table in the next spreadsheet with a particular column in the Row column.
For example, the data set is given below in the sheet 1 (it can be sheet 2 or 3 as well). I am trying to create a pivot table in a new inserted spreadsheet which is right to the data set worksheet and then macro to ask me which column I need to put in the row column.
Ticker Company Sector
RAD Rite Aid Corp. Services
PHH PHH Corporation Financial
ISIS Isis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Healthcare
GOGO Gogo Inc. Technology
FU FAB Universal Corporation Technology
DRYS DryShips, Inc. Services
1). Insert a new worksheet right to the current worksheet
2). create a pivot table in the new worksheet based on the data set in current spreadsheet
3). macro should ask which column I want in the row column and the same column should be in the values as well as count.
So, the final output will be like pivot table given below. If I double click on count 4, I will be able to see the data for that row.

Financial 1
Healthcare 1
Services 2
Technology 4
(blank)
Grand Total 8
