    VBA to rename PDF files saved in Desktop folder using excel 2010

    Hi Team,

    I am using MS 2010 and please tell me know how to rename multiple (more than 100) PDF files which in a folder as per the list in an excel spreadsheet. for example, I have PDF file name as 123456 in PDF format and I have the new name as 13569798, in a excel spreadsheet. I have to rename all the pdf files with the new number. likewise need to change multiple PDF files.

    Hi Chandrahaas

    try this attached File Just open the file and press Alt+F11 & change the folder path & run the macro

    I need one more help from you if you feel that I am not bothering....

    With attached the file, I am not able attach the PDF files to the emails created by Macro.

    Could you help me to get this done as this is very much helpful for me to send the 100+ eamils everyday.

    Hope you would help me in this regard.

    I forgot to click Add Reputation. Aplologies for that and I did it.

    Yes, Can you update the Macro in the attahced the excel which is enableing me to send the emails but not attaching the PDF files located in a specified location.

    Note: just mention file path & file name in sheet and run the macro

    Thanks for the file. But, still I don't see the macro is attaching the PDF file ater mentioning the fiel Path.

    i test from my end on my machine its attaching, all right u do one thing attached your file in which u have mention file path i will check y is it not attaching

    Hi Naveed,

    Here is the file with the path where I've updated the PDF files to be attached.

    in addition to this, could you also please update the macro to get the subject mentioned in the excel under the Subject column into the subject in the email.

    Sorry for disturbing you again.. How can I define one eamil Id by default as I have two email IDs.. Before sending the email, I have to selct one of them from the option "From"

    Ex: I have [email protected] and [email protected]

    Though outlook selects automatically [email protected] by default. But, I want outllok should select [email protected] by default in "From" from which I want to send emails.

    Please help
