I'm trying to enter today's date into a cell. What am I missing here?

What's not working? Only thing here is Now gives both a date and time, you can still format the cell to display only the date. If you want only the date value entered, use this

So the problem lies on how objXLSSht is declared. Did you already declare it somewhere? If not, try adding these
