    VBA Auto fill visible cells (filtered)

    hi

    please check the attached file, i have some data...i want a macro will auto fill no. like rrr-4859, rrr-4860, rrr-4861, rrr-4862, rrr-4863 but for visible filtered cells only.

    so i need a macro will pop message to me to enter what is the first data i want to be the second cell in column A then it detect how many cells filtered then will auto fill no. or the auto fill no. will be on selected cells doesn't matter which columns

    yes it is working, but instead of to type the starting row number, i want to type the number i want to start filing, for example;

    if i type 1000, so it will be 1000, 1001, 1002, 1003...etc. for all visible filtered in column A and up to the end, if i type for example "RRR-1000" so it will be RRR-1000, RRR-1001, RRR-1002, RRR-1003

    For the second part of your needs, I put in an Inputbox requesting pretext (ie RRR-). I had to do this to sequence the numbering. You can leave it blank of there are only numbers. Hope that helps.
