    Run time error 2147221233 (8004010f)

    Hi All

I am desperately trying to finish a project and just as I thought I had, I am now receiving the run time error 2147221233. "The attempted operation failed. An object could not be found". This code works fine on my computer but not my colleagues, i have checked the references and they are all the same with none missing. I have spent all day on this and can't fathom why its happening. Below are the lines generating the errors.

What is the value of arrCal at the point where the error occurs? Is there actually a folder by that name in each of your colleagues' Outlook setup? I have minimal experience with VBA for Outlook so I am not exactly sure what all of this code is doing.

    Hi jeff,

Yes the named folder does exists in my colleagues calendar. It's just strange that it works fine on mine and not hers, she has the same version of office 2010 (32 bit) as me.

    Hi Michelle

Is your colleagues arrCal a Sub Folder of the Default Calendar (is it in the right place)?

Is it properly Named (same spelling, no trailing spaces)?

I came across this googling the issue, i read it that the account may not be registered but if that were the case i would assume you wouldnt be able to send and receive emails, which she can.

    Hi Michelle

Can you show me a snapshot of the Tree Structure like this for each of your Outlook Calendar Folders...in Outlook 2007 ---> Go ---> Folder ---> Folder Name ---> Calendar.
Expand Calendar ---> Take Snapshot ---> Post for each.

    GoTo Calendar Folder.jpg

jeronimo1503, you are responding to a thread that is 10 years old, and is marked SOLVED.

Your solution gives no clue as to why you think this would solve the runtime error.

    Thread closed.

You have only made two posts and in both cases they are in old threads. At this point it is suspected your account has been hacked and any further suspicious activity will result in a ban.
