freshfruit, this is basically it in a nutshell. Without seeing the actual value in Sheet1("A3") this is about as much detail as I can give you. You should google "vba date formats" and practice with some to see how they behave.

Ok. I sort of get it. I'm still having difficulty understanding the code below. It's supposed to copy the range (R7:R36) into row 11 based on matching dates, but I don't see how it does this. Anyone else? Thanks.
