Named range through vba without duplicates

now it shounds straigh forward but i seem to not figure out how to do this

i have 2 columns of data

as seen in the attachment now what i want is to have 1 named range that is the first column without duplicates
the second named range is only those cells that that correspond with the genus in the first named range

ie

genus chosen in first row

Acanthopelma

only options available in second row would be
beccarii
rufescens

because these are the only ones that corrospond

To attach a Workbook
(please do not post pictures of worksheets)

• Click Advanced (next to quick post),
• Scroll down until you see "Manage Attachments",
• Click that then select "add files" (top right corner).
• Click "Select Files" find your file, click "open" click "upload"
• Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window.
• Click "Done" at bottom right to close the Attachment Manager.
• Click "Submit Reply"

Shall you be using those names in data validation or in VB code?
