    Sumproduct for visible rows only

    Hi guys,

I noticed that this issue has been discussed earlier but I just don't know how to apply this subtotal etc. part to my formula. Little bit too tricky for me. So, I need to do Sumproduct for visible rows only and code below needs some changes.

I suggest you post a sample workbook.

    Dear TMS,

I don't see any point of posting a sample workbook because it's only because of this one formula. Is there something in that code you don't understand?

That's VBA to generate a formula. I don't know what that formula will look like or what cell(s) it goes in ... and then you want to add a SUBTOTAL function to it.

So, yes, there's a lot about that formula that I don't understand. And I have no plans to create a workbook, populate it in cells unknown with a formula that I don't understand so that I can then try to develop a solution for you.

    Does that answer that question?

    Dear TMS,

Attached is a sample spreadsheet...if you're still listening...

As you can see, at the moment vba writes formulas to cells aa1-ad1 and those formulas works perfectly fine for all data in range a1:w14 but only when unfiltered. Now I want to create formula(s) which will only do the same trick for filtered rows. Hopefully this is much more easy to get the point now. Initially I thought that writing such formula would be much easier, like it was done earlier here.

    Cheers,

    Ville

Only because I was interested in how the formula worked and how to apply it here.

See the attached updated sample workbook. You can't do this stuff if you don't have the data to work on ...
