Form basics

Trying to get back to working with forms I can't even get off the ground. I created a simple form, named it MyUserForm (after several more proper names, trying to see if what I named it was causing the error, such as ufFormLetters), then i linked the following code to a command button on a worksheet in that worksheet's code area:

In case it matters, the form has two controls on it, a listbox and a command button to close it.

When I click the button on the worksheet to open the form and engage the code above, I get:
Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)':
Unspecified error.

How could I have done something to derail the process this early on?

Unfortunately it is... I ran through several hoping I simply stuck the name in wrong or named it something forbidden...

Makes sense - I made such a mess fumbling around that a lot could have come into play. I will work it again from scratch and advise!

Y'all nailed it, it has to do with some other code. Now I will clean it all and work it back. Thank-you.
