Need data rows of 4 Random numbers of 1 to 5 with a specific sums and alpha reliability

I am new to the forum. I have seen http://www.excelforum.com/excel-prog...ml#post3595242 which is a great work.

I need similar data with 4 rows of Random numbers (1 to 5) with a specific sums and alpha reliability of above 0.8. Alpha reliability calculator is attached below.

I shall be greateful.

Where shall go the generated numbers, What shall be sum, where is alpha?

All the pre-determined sums (12,40,60...)will be placed in Column "E" and data (1-5) against them will be generated in Columns A to Column D such that the data of each row will sum to a specific value in respective cell of Column "E". The data generated for example 440 rows should have alpha of above 0.8. The calculation of alpha can be done by the attached document.

I still do not know where (B1 on Sheet1 in attachment?) is computed alpha?

And where exactly (which sheet and from each row) the mentioned A-D columns shall go?

The next thing: You want random numbers 1..5 in 4 columns. But on the other hand you write: "pre-determined sums (12,40,60...)". The sum of four numbers from range <1, 5> has to be in range <4,20>.
