    listing and finding in Excel

    Hi all,

Just need help with listing and finding in Excel. Have a list of names and it contains supervisors, operators and trainers. But some times I get trainers in the middle of the list.

So need a macro or VBA code, from the NAME TAB if there are trainers then find under trainers and COPY them in the next sheet after the supervisor list. But if there are no trainers then it should give return 0 at the end of the supervisor list.

    Have attached the file.

    Any help highly appreciated.

On that sample sheet I see one trainer "King Kong" listed on the Name sheet. Now what is supposed to happen? Be specific, name sheets and cells...

Re: listing and finding in Excel

    Hi JBeaucaire,
    Thanks for your reply.

Now the requirement is since the lists are changing, and the number of operating members varies. It could be 15 or 23. but I need this trainer's name to appear after that operator list. BUT only IF available.

So the vba code should search for trainers from the NAME tab and only if available it should copy that trainer name to trainers tab. then on the GEN DEC tab (which retrieve names from TECH and CABIN tabs) should list this trainer's name after the operator name list. But again if there are no trainers then It shouldn't give me an error instead It could be ignored or can return 0.

Hope u got it. sorry for my English

    Thanks a lot.

    Sorry, not yet.

What determines if King Kong is "available"?
